Privacy Policy for Done?
Effective date: August 5, 2026.
Done? is a local reminder app for Android. This Privacy Policy explains what data the app uses and why.
1. Data stored by the app
Reminders, schedules, selected settings, activity history, and Premium purchase status are stored on the user's device. An account is not required to use the main features.
The app does not send reminder content to the developer and does not use its own server to synchronize this data.
2. Android permissions
The app may request notifications, exact alarms, full-screen notifications, vibration, permission to keep the device awake, permission to start after device reboot, and an optional battery-restriction exemption. These permissions are used only to deliver and restore reminders reliably.
The app does not request access to contacts, photos, microphone, camera, or precise location.
3. Text-to-speech
When text-to-speech is enabled, reminder text is sent to the system text-to-speech provider installed on the device. Processing by that provider is governed by its own privacy policy.
4. Advertising and consent
The free version uses Google Mobile Ads and Google's User Messaging Platform. Depending on the user's region and consent choices, these services may collect or share approximate location (for example, location inferred from an IP address), app interactions, diagnostic information, and device or other identifiers. These data may be used for advertising or marketing, analytics, and fraud prevention, security, and compliance. Data transmitted by Google services is encrypted in transit. Google's handling and retention of this data are governed by Google's own policies.
Where required, the app displays Google's consent form before requesting ads. Available privacy choices can be reviewed through the privacy options entry shown by the app when required. The user may purchase Premium, after which the ad banner is hidden.
5. Purchases
The one-time Premium purchase removes ads and unlocks custom reminder retry intervals. It is processed through Google Play Billing. Payment information is not sent to the app or the developer. The app receives only the information needed to verify purchase status.
6. Feedback
The “Send feedback” button opens Android's standard sharing interface and prepares a message containing the app version, Android version, and device model. Nothing is sent automatically: the user chooses an app, may edit the message, and confirms sending it.
Please do not include passwords, payment details, or other sensitive information in feedback.
7. Backup
Android may include app data in system backups, depending on the device and Google Account settings. Backups are managed through Android.
8. Children
The app is not specifically directed to children and does not knowingly collect children's personal data through its own server.
9. Changes to this policy
This policy may be updated when app features, services, or store requirements change. The current version is available at the URL listed on the app's Google Play page.
10. Contact
For privacy-related questions, use the “Send feedback” feature in the app or contact fanfm2008@gmail.com.
